Brake Testing

We use a portable, DVSA approved brake tester and DVSA MTS (MOT Testing System) approved device and are fully trained in its use.

After stripping or replacing any part in the brake system, the machine should have a brake test completed to show the efficiency of both the service and handbrake. This test can also be carried out at service intervals, to keep your records for insurance purposes up to date.

The brake check is also approved by the DVSA for performing the quarterly voluntary brake test now required, as part of the interim safety inspections.
